Last updated 20 June 2026. This policy explains how we handle the information you share with us through this website, our quote request flow and direct correspondence.

1. Who we are

Akshar Office Supply (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Bangalore-based supplier of office stationery, computer consumables, housekeeping materials, pantry items, packaging, safety supplies and corporate gifts. Our registered address is #2/1, Shankar Nivas, Nanjappa Road, Shanti Nagar, Bangalore – 560027.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information you actively give us:

  • Identity & contact details — your name, business email address and phone number when you submit a Request for Quote (RFQ) or contact form.
  • Sourcing details — the list of products, quantities and notes you build in your RFQ list.
  • Communications — copies of the emails, WhatsApp messages and call notes exchanged between us so we can service your request.
  • Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referrer) and anonymous analytics on aggregate page usage.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your quote request with pricing, availability and lead times — usually within two business hours.
  • To deliver and invoice the goods you order from us, and to provide after-sales support.
  • To send transactional emails — quote confirmations, order updates, delivery notes — to the address you provided.
  • To improve the website experience (page speed, navigation, broken-link fixes) using aggregated analytics.
  • To meet our legal and tax obligations (GST invoices, accounting records).

4. Email handling and Resend

When you submit an RFQ, two emails are sent on your behalf through Resend — one notification to our sales inbox and one confirmation to the email address you typed. Resend acts as our transactional email processor and stores delivery metadata for the period required to confirm delivery.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies needed for the site to function (e.g. remembering whether you have dismissed a notice). We may also use privacy-friendly aggregate analytics. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we need to operate the business — for example our email provider (Resend), our logistics partners for last-mile delivery, and our tax and accounting consultants — and only the minimum required for the service.

7. Data retention

RFQ records and order documents are retained for as long as we have an active business relationship plus the period required by Indian tax law (typically eight years). Email logs are retained for one year. Aggregate analytics are kept indefinitely as they cannot identify you personally.

8. Your rights

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to fix anything that is inaccurate.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete records that we are no longer legally required to keep.
  • Withdraw consent — opt out of future marketing communication at any time by replying ‘unsubscribe’.

9. Security

We use TLS for all data in transit and access controls for our internal systems. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we apply industry-standard practices to protect the information you share with us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL with the “Last updated” date refreshed.
