These terms govern the use of the website hosted at https://www.aksharoffice.in and all transactions arising from a quote request submitted through it. The website is operated by Akshar Office Supply, with offices at #2/1, Shankar Nivas, Nanjappa Road, Shanti Nagar, Bangalore – 560027.
2. Catalog and pricing
Product images, names and descriptions on the site are illustrative. Specifications, pack sizes and brands can change without notice. Prices, taxes, lead times and minimum order quantities are confirmed only in the formal quotation we send in response to your RFQ — nothing on the site itself constitutes an offer to sell.
3. Quote requests (RFQ)
Submitting items via our Request for Quote flow is a request for pricing — it is not an order. A binding sale only exists once we issue a written quotation, you confirm the quotation in writing, and we acknowledge the confirmed purchase order.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the products, quantities, names, email and phone number you submit.
- We may decline to quote on products that are out of stock, discontinued, or outside our service area.
- Quotations are typically valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise on the document.
4. Orders, payment and invoicing
- Confirmed orders are billed in INR with applicable GST.
- Payment terms are agreed per quotation and recorded on the proforma invoice.
- Title to the goods passes to you only once payment is received in full.
- We issue a GST tax invoice for every order, sent to the billing email you provide.
5. Delivery
We deliver across Bangalore and to corporate buyers in Mumbai, Vadodara, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune. Delivery dates given during quotation are estimates based on stock and dispatch conditions on that day; we are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather or events outside our reasonable control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
6. Returns and replacements
- Damaged or short-shipped items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the carton and product.
- Manufacturer-defective items (printers, cartridges, electronics) follow the brand's replacement policy and turnaround.
- Made-to-order, customised or printed items are non-returnable except for our own defects.
7. Use of the website
You agree not to:
- Scrape, mirror or republish substantial portions of the catalog without our written permission.
- Attempt to access systems or data outside the public website (e.g. probing the RFQ API beyond the documented contract).
- Submit false personal information or impersonate another business when requesting a quote.
8. Intellectual property
The Akshar Office Supply name, logo, photography, copy and site design are owned by us or licensed to us. Brand and product names referenced on the site (HP, Canon, Epson and similar) belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the products we resell as an authorised distributor or stockist.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the invoice value of that order. We are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of profit, business interruption or loss of goodwill.

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the information you share with us.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka.
